Today's food for thought is about holiday perfection. What is my idea of a perfect holiday and what does that look like in my home?

Just look to Cottage Living Magazine and you will get an idea of what I like: On second thought, the first 1/2 of the question isn't that hard to answer. A perfect christmas for me would simply be to have all my friends and family together at christmas. We are spread far apart from New Jersey to California which makes it hard to get together and spend time with those you love.

And a little bonus to my already ridiculously-long-picture-heavy post, some more about the weather! The photo on the left was about 36 hours ago and the photo of the right I just took a few minutes ago. And then they are predicting 50 degree temps for this weekend! ACK! Make up your mind already!!!

Love those home pics! I can dream, can't I?? Love the wreath hanging from the curtain rod. May have to give that one a try. My decorations have to be able to stand up to two toddlers so my choices are somewhat limited! Love your addition to your December album!
I think those pics are perfection, wish I could visit there for christmas. It looks like weather whiplash!
u are so lucky to get snow...now i know you are probably rolling your eyes thinking yeah right...but i get NONE!! NADA...sometimes on christmas we are running the ac...grrrrrrrr hard to get in the xmas spirit when it is 80 degrees!! and i would love to make a snow angel
Oooh that is a lovely type of dream christmas isn't it? Sometimes the mags are almost as good as the real thing! At least I think that's as close as I'll get to those scenes! hehe
