Cards for Heroes Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop

Cards for Heroes NEXT BLOG HERE.
Cards for Heroes BLOG HOP HOME PAGE HERE.

Howdy! If you are here for the Memorial Day Weekend CARDS FOR HEROES Blog Hop, then you are in the right place!! If you aren't here for that, why don't you stick around and support our troops for a few moments anyways before you go and enjoy this gorgeous weekend!!
What is Cards for Heroes?? Simply, a fantastic way to show your support for our troops. When you are in the middle east or various others parts of the world as a solider, you can't just stop by the grocery store or your favorite local card/paper store on the way home. This makes picking up a greeting card for a spouse, loved one, child or friend a little difficult. Enter Cards For Heroes.

Why do I participate? It started as something to do with my scraps from scrapbooking and grew into something fun and exciting. To think I could make a little card that would travel around the world not once, but twice, and make multiple people smile... wow! So, I do it for me too. But most importantly, I do it for them. Our troops. I've never been involved in the military and this is a great way to show my support. Our country has shown a lot of support in the past and this is a way I know to do it currently.

What is needed??? I love you cards. I miss you cards. Thinking of you cards. Happy Birthday & Happy Anniversary cards. And my favorite recent discovery of much needed cards that led to some made card making late last night, children!!! Whodda thunk it? Not me! When I read on the Cards For Heroes blog that we need more cards for kids, a big fat DUH came and smacked me across the forehead! Soliders have children too!!! Not just spouses and loved ones. And maybe those kiddos would like some cards aimed at their age group.

Now if only I could figure out how to make some cards for teenagers! Then we'd be in business!

Okay, Okay. I've taken up enough of your time with wonderful Saturday afternoon, so without any further ado, the next stop on the Cards for Heroes Blog Hop is with Shelley at http://lifeonaltadenaavenue.blogspot.com/. Shelley makes gorgeous cards full of bright color and life... something I adore about her! And she is also a fellow furbaby momma... another plus in my book! ;)
Don't forget to leave a comment to win my little blog candy RAK (pictured immediately above) and continue on to Shelley's blog here. Have an awesome holiday weekend and thanks for stopping by!!!

Wow! These cards are fabulous! As a spouse of a deployed solider I am sure these cards will be appreciated on both ends! My DH was just complaining the other day that he had waited in line for the makeshift PX for 30 minutes to find only graduation and birthday cards! - then I heard about the bloghop and CFH from Ali E's blog! I signed him up and I am hoping to make some cards myself! Thanks for your involvement!
