The Ranch Rodeo has Gone to the Dogs!
Yesterday afternoon Andy & I headed north to visit some friends of ours in Laramie, Wyoming. They were at a local ranch rodeo and invited us to tag along for the end of it. So we did.
We had a great time and that was in part because of our doggies, Hailey (big brown dog) and Crackers (little black dog). The rodeo was the ultimate in doggie TV, complete with smell-o-vision. They LOVED it. Hailey kept making the goofiest noises, whimpering and whining every time a calf got roped and they were trying to get it into the trailer. Her border collie side was showing through - she really wanted to get down there and help!!! It was tooo cute!
Crackers on the other hand watched so intently and didn't make a single peep - it was surprising!
It was fairly low key and we had a nice BBQ dinner at our friends house after - that is until the weather chased us inside.
There were some fantastic clouds, rain and storms!
What did you do for the holiday weekend? Anything special??

My holiday weekend was pretty uneventful, but sometimes I like it that way. :)
Those were some amazing storms, wow!
I went to see the in-laws in New Mexico, and had a blast!
