Write. Click. Scrapbook. Sketch Challenge

Write. Click. Scrapbook. Sketch Challenge

Write. Click. Scrapbook. (WCS) is an AWESOME new website put together by a bunch of the gals that used to be a part of Simple Scrapbooks Magazine (which I miss dearly). If you haven't been to their website for inspiration, fun and pratical advice, what are you waiting for? Click here.

Linda Barber has been hosting the WCS blog topics this week and she has issued a sketch challenge based on this sketch.
And here is my verison:

Also, I am having a problem that I hope some of you could help me with.

Problem: is there a way to create text INSIDE a circle in Photoshop full verison 7??? I tried in vain for hours and no dice. Googled it = no dice. The journaling isn't actually attached here because I would really like to do it in a circle and incoroprate it into the design.
Are you playing along? Even if you aren't, how would you use this sketch? Exactly? Turn it? Change the size? Get pretty loose with it? Honestly, I'm surprised I got as loose as I did, but I was inspired by another layout I saw the same day as the sketch challenge went up here.

Love your take on the sketch! The circles are fabulous! I usually keep pretty close to the sketch, and I'm thinking the TTV frame in the SC kit would be perfect for this! I'm no help with the cirlce text, sorry! I've always wanted to try that though!

I love this website too. I'm glad all our Simple girls have a place together like that.

I love your interpretation of the sketch, too. I'll do a little research about the text in a circle. I know you can buy dome shaped text blocks/ paths at DesignerDigitals.com, but I'll look into making your own.

what a fresh perspective on the sketch - circle! love it!

and i'm pretty sure you can't do shaped text in PS - I use Illustrator or Word.
