Oh the weather outside is Frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Don't you just LOVE waking up to over a foot of snow, all the schools being closed, some of the highways closed yet your place of work is still open?? I live 18 miles away from work... that's a long way and IT'S STILL SNOWING!!!!!!

So, I am sitting tight until the sun gets up and starts warming things up a little bit. I also put an email into my boss (who comes in even further then I) to let me know what the roads are like and if he thinks I should come in or not. Considering he is the City Traffic Engineer and a safety freak (plus I trust him), he will let me know if I will be leaving the house today or not.

In the meantime, enjoy a couple of pictures of the ladies playing in the snow yesterday afternoon. This morning, the snow is almost up to their bellies! LOL If you had an unexpected snow day, what would you do with your little slice of freedom?

I love the photo where the dogs
were jumping! :D
I've never seen snow before since I
live in a tropical island. the
weather is SO humid now. it's
supposed to rain since the monsoon
season is nearing. but it feels like
the hottest time of the year >.<
how I would give up this humid
weather for your snow! ;D
Wow, that is alot of snow! It's good that you have a caring boss!
OMG that middle pic of your dog flying through the air is PRICELESS!!! Your dogs are adorable and it's fun to see such joy on their faces! I hope you get your snow day!
I'm so jealous! It looks so pretty. We are having a really mild autumn day here today, hard to believe you are snowed in. Keep posting those photos!
Fabulous photos. The dogs look really happy. I wish we had snow like that.
Hello there - just dropped by from Shimelle's to say Hi! (Yup, I'm still on page 2 of the intro thread...)
What would I do with a snow day? Catch up on blogs!!!
See you in class ;-)
Wow! I can't imagine having that much snow this time of the year! Your dogs are having a blast. Hope you got to stay home and snuggle in!
Wow. you got a lot of snow!!!! Enjoy! LOL
WOW I'm jealous. Infact my doggies are jealous too.
We are having a bit of an indian summer here in the UK so it's nice to see snow.
Fabulous, fabulous photos!! Rarely see snow in my neck of the woods - and to do my amazement I do actually miss it.
Hi Lauren!
I, too, found your blog via Shimelle's class forum. I'm loving your blog - great photos, great stories, great ideas! I've bookmarked it to come back again on my regular blog rounds :)
Cheers!
Oh my goodness! I can't even imagine. (Especially since we're setting record highs today, almost 90F) Hope you get home from work safely to play with those puppies!
That is quite a lot of snow!
I'm enjoying my snow day with yummy food and a little crafting! I love the yesterday and today photos with your cute pup, mine are so short that the snow is now over their heads and we've had to shovel a path for them in the yard :) Hope you are safe and sound!
Oh good greif! That white stuff will be coming our way soon. I am in IL. I am secretly hoping we get a lot of it this winter because hey if it has to be cold it may as well be pretty too! Love the dog shots. That is a big differnce. :)
Beautiful snow photos! I enjoyed reading this blog very much
Ouch - me don`t want winter just yet. Looks like the furbabies had fun in the snow though.
It is so weird to read that the schools close when it is snowing. I don`t think that ever happens here in Norway - no matter how much snow.
Love the photos!
your dogs look like they were having fun! Very pretty dogs.
Those are AMAZING photos!!!!! What fun!
Your dogs are beautiful!
What breed are they?
